So I was living with a classmates family, her dad tried to sleep with me so I moved out to squat with a friend.
I had no money, my dad and his wife didn’t give me money.
A relative called out of the blues, heard me crying.
I told her my situation immediately she sent me money to get a place to stay.

I would never forget that.

My salary was delayed, my bank was having issues, I couldn’t withdraw money to save myself, my church woman was just coming from the atm, and she entered the same Keke with me, she wanted to pay for my fare but I had already payed, so she dahed me 2k, the 2k felt like 20k, I used it to make stew and soup to save myself. God bless that woman where ever she is.

I had a debt of over 400k, online loan companies had started sending messages to my contacts, fortunately they sent it to her. She called me immediately, I was in serious tears that I couldn’t speak, she asked for my account details and sent 500k. I later realised that she borrowed the money on my behalf but she never asked me for it. God will continue to bless you abundantly Jenny.

This recently happened to me and it showed me that what God cannot do does not exist 💪 I was on the verge of loosing my home..like I was given 48hrs to pay if not I ll be sent out.
Had crazy anxiety and I could not sleep for days.
One of those nights I was awake, I decided to send a message to a very very popular celebrity. Like in my mind, I knew she might not see it not to talk of replying.. but I sent it anyways. The chances of her seeing the message was 5/100.
Few minutes after I sent this message, she responded by asking for account details. I was shocked..literally speechless for a few minutes.
Long story short, she sent the money I needed and that was how I was able to pay this rent.
I will never ever forget this,I will cherish this till for life.
N.B; She never read my messages again after I gave the account number
She didnt even accept the thank you’s. It was as if God used her for that moment. This is a big deal to me.

I’m forever grateful to my lecturer who introduced me to his wife who’s a nurse and she recommended a psychiatrist to me and since then my mental health issues have been properly managed. Prior to meeting my lecturer i had been in and out of several hospitals and none of those doctors figured out my problem.

During NYSC, I was posted to Abuja and didn’t have where to stay. My relative gave excuses of how they can’t accommodate me. Squatted with classmate family for few months before they asked me to leave. I was housed for 2 years by a family I didn’t know from adams. Funny how I met this angel the day we left camp and somehow we kept in touch. Told her of my challenge and she stepped in. I can never for forget that family because they took me as their own. We are still in communication and they have become part of my life.

Back then in University of Ghana, my family was going through a rough patch because my brother and I were in the university at the same time. A friend of mine introduced me to my best friend now.

She gave me a place to stay in her room, cooked for me day in day out, took me out several times, bought me clothes and everything .
I also helped her to study, listen to her talk about her family and just stayed as a good friend

She was really God sent to me, and I have been there for her ever since

This was 8 years ago, but I always remember how much she was there for me and try as much as possible to be there for her regardless

I don’t even know where to start, when my ex left me after 9years of dating, I was distraught. I had to start living again. One day someone called me from nowhere, told me he saw my passport and he liked my face, he offered me a job. He came to the airport,picked me up for the documentation. He did everything I had to do. That’s how I got the paramilitary job I’m doing right now.

I had worked for 13 years n was indebted all round. I cried out to God n he gave me a seconded job with the UN with a seven digit figure pay. Since then I have been enlarged all round. God came thru for me n I can never be grateful enough

I was talking to my friend on a video call while walk from my car to my work place. I started feeling lite in my head, I slumped and had a heart attack. Broke the phone my glasses broke into my eyes because I fell face down on a stone road.
I was out for about 5mins and my friend kept calling my name. He didn’t cut the line until ambulance pick me up. He was actually the one that told me what happened 2days later. I had pulmonary embolism. I can never ever forget him.

In 2014,i travelled to Dubai to visit my boyfriend now my husband who was schooling at the time.
All my friends in school were really waiting for me to come back with Dubai goodies but I had plans to just give them story because I knew he was just a student.
Few days to leaving Dubai,he told me he was coming and you won’t believe this guy went to sell his very expensive phone so I could shop and buy nice things to Nigeria for myself and my friends.
Since then till now it’s just been his selflessness and care in little or plenty…

I was schooling part time because I had to work to foot the bills. Lost my atm card on my way from class one saturday to withdraw the last 1k in the account. I cried all the way home because i didnt have any other money that will take me till i got to work on monday. Coincidentally this person called me. He heard me crying and immediately sent someone to me with cash. He continued sending me stipends and food items periodically till I was able to stand on my own. Grateful to him for life 🙏

I had just finished from Uni and did not want to stay idle while waiting for my clearance and convocation. Always wanted to model so I gathered my savings and went to Lagos to take a chance at the major auditions on-going then. A “friend” housed me for a few days and started asking when I would leave after he tried to sleep with me and I declined, I had exhausted my funds and things were tight all round for my family then so the money I was expecting did not come, no one to even lend me. One morning the “friend” asked me to leave before he got back from work, I got a call from a guy I gave my number to at the airport omw to Lagos, I told him my predicament which was unlike me.He gave me the number of someone who would take me to the empty guest house he stays at whenever he’s in Lagos, booked my flight for 2 days later, and sent me money plus had someone deliver food to me while I was at the guest house. We never saw again but I can never forget him and his kindness

When I had some issues,where I was embarrassed and humiliated at a point.a friend who I wasn’t that close to çalled me and said,Babe even If I might be dissapointed in you, you’re my friend and I can’t leave you now.i was depressed and suicidal from everything,this girl kept defending me in public and checking me privately.literally carried my matter on her head till today

I finished secondary school in 2016 and getting into uni was war admission just seemed impossible in 2018 I was already depressed I cried to God to help me get into school, admission list came out and I didn’t get into school but I was just determined to enter school that year I wasn’t going to go to private because there was no money but I was always praying and I just knew something was going to happen. From nowhere my uncle that have never spoken to reached out to me and asked how school was told him I haven’t entered and he was so interested he wanted to pay for a private uni but then I knew it was really expensive so we heard about diploma and he said he was going to pay my fees and diploma entrance examination was like closing in 2 weeks I wasn’t even in Lagos at that time I had to come down to Lagos immediately to prepare for the exam. Everything just happened really fast he sent the money for my diploma fees and upkeep. He doesn’t talk to us anymore but I know God used him

Hmmm! When I went to have my second baby, we bought a ticket through an agent, unknown to us, it was bought fraudulently. We had no idea until we got to Amsterdam, when the flights refused to take me and my child. I was heavily pregnant, frustrated, with a 2 year old. We almost got kicked back home, thank God for God, travel history and my best friend who was with me all through the ordeal (on the phone, along with my husband, trying to keep me calm) We tried purchasing another ticket but could not, whilst on it, she got us tickets to our destination and back to Nigeria. I have always known her to be selfless, but that took me out. We offered to pay back but she rejected it. And guess what, we eventually could not use the tickets because I couldn’t fly Iceland air as I did not have a Schengen visa, but my son could, cuz of his passport. It was a waste, but she didn’t care. She was with me all through, she literally did not sleep until I was sorted. Ginika Okoye, May God reward you..

Biological mother died while I was 6 months old…her elder sister and husband took me has their daughter..I lost my biological father while I was in Js3(My late mum elder sister and husband instantly became my parents)they took care of me even though I was always falling sick,sent me to a private school primary and secondary as their son, right now am in the university alll because of them 😩They pulled through for me …I’m forever grateful!!!Thank you mum and dad❤

My big sis while I was in school she often send me 2k monthly. Hmmm it was saving my life then. I appreciate them alot

My mum borrowed me 100k for business. I used it for mini importation and lost everything. She said I should not worry about paying back. I hope I repay her in the future

My lil sis pay me 5k monthly to raise me as I don’t have a job and the little business I do is not really doing well

My inlaw gave me 50k to start a business last year. I will always be grateful

Mine is going to be longgg. Actually it’s the guy I’m seeing. I can remember when I told him I can’t drive with one leg, I usually use two legs to drive. One on the brake and one on the accelerator 😂😂😂. He said nooo, nne I will teach you don’t worry. Guess what he did?? We drove to a supermarket, he came down from his car, told me to come over to the driver’s seat and show him how I drive😂😂😂. I did with the door open while he watched me. He corrected me on how to drive, he took his time to explain to me choi😩😩😩. Till date, he still ask how is my driving going… I’m blessed honestly. He’s a good man and I can say I’m a professional now. I drive with one leg only. All thanks to him💃💃💃💃. He’s done so many other sweet and beautiful things. God bless him

I’ll forever be grateful to my friend and her family who took me in when I first came to Lagos in search of a greener pasture, they accepted me like their own family, fed me, gave me money to take care of myself when I had no job! Iya ibeji thank you so much!❤️

I’m also grateful to my male best friend who gave me a shoulder to cry on and was there for me all through the time my narcissist ex frustrated my life, to even think that this guy asked me out o, I said no to him and went ahead to date my crazy ex, he never held on to that or seize that opportunity to mock me, he was there for me and helped me remain sane, I can’t forget that in a decade to come. Femi! you’re a real Gee❤️

A friend helped me to get my first job at her place of work by telling her boss about me. Another friend helped me with my second job by sending me the job advert and making sure I attend the interview the next day (I got the job and it was times 3 of what we were both earning at my former place of work) she sent it to me not minding the fact that she was not qualified for the job (age limit) but she wanted to see me excel.
My fiance’s parents assisted me with my travel plan for my master’s in the UK. My brother also assisted me with money too. I’m so grateful for the helpers God sent to me and I will forever cherish them

I just graduated NP school looking for a job. I already accepted an offer and they retracted the offer. So I spoke to an MD I was working with. She spoke to her boos. A week later I interviewed and that was how I was hired. She now had to train me extra 3 months. She really tried for me!

My lecturer back in university recommended me and one of my classmate for a scholarship outside the country…. He filled all forms and only called me to bring my birth certificate… I thought it was a joke.
His second call was to tell me we got the scholarship….we didn’t drop a dime, only had to take pocket money for the duration of the course. The institute took care of ticket, visa, accommodation.

I can never forget that, he could’ve chosen any other person in class…. I still call to check up on him every now and then even though I graduated in 2014.

Actually, it’s two people I will always be thankful to. My lecturer and my friend. I got really sick in my final year and was admitted. My lecturer came to see me in the hospital, vouched for me at school and because of his backing, the department allowed me to sit for the exam I missed when I was admitted in the hospital. This man gave me part of the money I needed for my final year project, 2k weekly (1k each day he thought us, he thought us twice a week). He came to see my parents and told them to raise some money while he raises the balance to get me a smart phone. (I didn’t have a smart phone in my final year. He eventually bought me the phone). He gave me monthly allowances even after I graduated from school (without me asking). Encouraged me to take my medications and visit the hospital for routine check ups. While waiting for NYSC, he encouraged me to learn a skill. I chose tailoring and he paid for it. We kept in touch till he kicked the bucket. Omo….

I cried my eyes out because that man was God sent.
Another person I will not forget is a friend who practically sponsored my fashion career without knowing it. He used to send me 3k, 4k, 2k at random. In a month, he would have given me 20k without realizing it and that was my only source of income asides the 5-10k
My lecturer used to send monthly. With the small small 2k, 3k that friend was giving me randomly, I paid my t.p to and fro fashion school and got all the materials I needed. Then one day, I received an alert of 100k to buy a sewing machine. See eh good people exist. People can genuinely help others without wanting anything in return

I was very broke at a certain period when I was in uni. Tbh, I’m never usually broke, I’m also very hesitant to ask people for money. Anyways, I guess my best friend realized that I wasn’t doing or buying things I’ll normally buy and somehow figured out that I’m broke. Long story short, he put a thousand naira in the middle of my text and I didn’t see it till I got to my hostel. He put it in my text cause he knows that if he handed it to me physically, I won’t take it. I got to the hostel, saw the money and literally started crying because out of all of my friends, he’s super sensitive to my needs and I don’t have to say anything for him to know what I’m thinking. Super grateful for him.

I was always complaining about our mum’s burial site to my sisters about how I wish I had money to give her a befitting burial site(I’m the first born btw).. anytime I complain,my husband will just say it is well.. only for my daddy to call me recently &he started praying for my hubby and I.. I was quite confused until he told me that my husband told him to go make enquires about how much it will take to get everything done, he did and my husband has sent the money. I asked my husband& he told me he did it to surprise me so I can stop being sad about it. God will continue to bless you for me oko mi.

2019 I was a young lady from jos who has never left the north for any reason I was posted to cross river State for Nysc after camp I had problem with my allowee account due to name issue so I couldn’t access my allowee for two months I was very broke I called home for money my elder sister sent money but I had not seen alert I when to the atm and there was no money I didn’t even have transport to go back to my ppa I was confused a woman came to use the atm and noticed me she called me and asked what was the problem I explained to her my present issues she gave me 3k to go back to my ppa am forever grateful to her for that

I was sent out of d house by someone I called my friend, it was late in the night, I had no where to go that night there was no cash with, I was walking and crying😢
I walk up to this lady and explain things to her, she took me to her house, she gave me shelter for 3 days it was like 3yrs for me. I can never forget her. She was an angel God sent to me

I remembered when I and family just changed our apartment, a week after moving into the new house, our generator got spoilt, we all know how expensive generator is, my mum is a poor civil servant, government refuse to pay them salary for like 6 months, our neighbor that we barely know was the one pumping water for us for good 2 years.. they never complained for once, though we do buy them fuel but people like them are rare… I’ll forever be good to people because all this people be making me feel emotional with their good deeds 🥺

My friend turned sister introduced me to a job that was paying $700. A remote job for that matter. I didn’t have to send CV, I didn’t have to do interview, I was only introduced to her boss and the following week, I started the job. Though, I am currently not doing the job anymore but I will forever cherish her because not everyone can teach you how to fish. My heart prays for her everyday🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I response to your question, women have saved me. When my parents sent me out for getting pregnant, it was a woman who I didn’t know that took me in till I had my baby, I got raped in the house once but I had roof over my head. When I wanted to start school, it was a woman who saw me and offered me a scholarship. Many of the times I’ve fallen, it’s women who have picked me up. What’s funny is I didn’t have anything to offer them, not love, not even presence because I was tired of living. After I attempted suicide the second time, the lady who put me on a scholarship got me to see a psychologist and while that didn’t work out so well, she has never made me feel guilty for hating this life. I don’t know how to be vulnerable, I’m saving myself so I don’t get hurt. I’ve not learnt to accept love but I know that every time I stretch my hand, she’ll take it and hold me. And it’s a beautiful thing, it makes it easier for me to choose life

During my NYSC days like 2 months to our passing out I was very sick that I had to go for surgery and I couldn’t make it to my final clearance my two friends Bisola And Damilola fought tooth and nail to get my clearance from my supervisor cos the supervisor and I had an unfinished business and he figured out that was the only way to get his revenge God bless those girls for me I can never forget what these two did if not for them and God maybe I would have had an extension and I must say that must have been the only time I have seen people fighting for me love you girls ❤️❤️❤️

I’m grateful for my BIG mommy ( my dad’s elder sister ) I stayed with her since I was like 6 years😊….I was going to a public primary school when I was with my parents, so I wasn’t too bright in school…when I got to my aunt’s place, she registered me in her daughter school, got a home teacher for us and it was intense teaching so I could catch up….. luckily I did a bit..went to a very good private primary and secondary school all on my aunty… she also saw me through my ND in the polytechnic… when it was time for my HND, I had already moved back to my moms place and i find it hard to ask my aunty for Favour again because she actually did a lot….in one way or the other ,I met this my God sent that saw me through my HND..From my school fees to my house rent to days I wasn’t even broke and he’d just send me money.. he literally tried his best even if he was quite older than I was and also has his own children.. and I’m also grateful to those that helped with my
I wanted Lagos and i got Lagos easily without paying or any other thing…. Im 24 years old now and I’m still serving but will finish in November…. hopefully God will come through as usual when it’s time for a job 😊 💗

This question though…a particular one that felt like a miracle. When I was going to UK, I didn’t have plans yet on where to stay after I arrive. I had been trying to book an airbnb from Nigeria but it wasn’t going through. Well, I had a stopover at Dubai and I was able to connect to the Internet somehow (can’t remember how). I can’t even remember how the discussion started with these guys I had never met. Abdulrauf and Muhammed, Abdulrauf helped me secure an airbnb for two days immediately I told him my predicament. After I arrived UK, they both came to check on me in the evening of the day I got in and even took me out to eat. They were already there as I was 3 weeks late already…May Allah (SWT) continue to bless you both. Amin.

A fellow Nigerian, a guy who I met at my job took me in his apartment when the people I was living with here in Canada, turned me to a maid, got to a point i was depressed,suicidal, emotionless and lonely. they collected all the clothes they gave me because I told them I was leaving their, I brought two tops and three jeans from Nigeria because “ clothes are cheap and plenty here, use your bags to carry food” 😂 told the guy I was going back to Nigeria, he said them never born you, “park your stuff, you can stay in my house till whenever you’re buoyant to get yourself an apartment, in the abroad Ah!!😩😩😩 two weeks later, got an apartment and a new job, though I’m still working on my mental health and emotions. I’m really thankful for that gesture🫶🏽💕(please if you don’t have money to rent an apartment before you relocate, please borrow money, make sure you’re not at the mercy of anyone here!! People dey o!

In 2021 I gained admission for a Postgraduate Course.I had raised some money but I still had about 200,000 left. I had done a post on twitter tagging some celebrities and those I was following. About a month later and 2 days to the deadline, My school fees were still unpaid.
Surprisingly I woke up on that day to an alert.I was shocked because the person that sent it was my law school classmate. Turns out my classmate in Secondary School Took it Upon Herself to Actively Raise that money. She called her personal friends, tagged those she knew, my secondary school classmates,everyone turned up for me.

By the next day I Had the complete money plus extra for Some books. My mum legit cried because she had thought I would lose that opportunity. Till Today We don’t really talk because we didn’t really have any relationship But the way she turned up for me. Hmm
Even thinking of it now, tears still come to my eyes.
It’s a Gift that I will never forget.

I relocated to a new country. I called an old church member who relocated the year before. He helped me get a job, got his wife to help out with references, paid for my background checks and sent me money to hold body till I started the job. We weren’t even that close in Nigeria.

I can also never forget the family that housed and fed me for 5 months while I was in pH fir school… The wife especially. Because women would naturally frown at that but her husband was my ex elder brother. Even though me and his brother were no longer dating, he took me in and his wife accepted me and became a sister to me… Apart from my family house, I’ve never felt that comfortable and welcomed in any other person’s home.

During my nysc, my boyfriend (now husband) and I were living together, things were very toug. He was doing uber and I had to be selling shoes online to support the nysc allawee I was getting but sales was not encouraging in any sense. This man saw how I sad it was making and started taking the shoes with him on trips. He would keep them in the trunk of his car and show it to all his customers and proceed to collect their numbers for me so I could contact them later and show them other stuff I had. Things are much better for us now but he’s never stopped encouraging and supporting me in every way. I hope to buy a range rover for him for his 40th birthday with an all expense paid trip to the Maldives for him 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Mine was 2011 was in junior school, I was sick but I still went to school on my way back I fainted at the road side…God sent two good people my way, the first was a lady her first time in abj so she didn’t knw any hospital close by, she and my friends where looking for taxi before this man stopped and took me into his car, that me, the lady and my friend. We went to hospital where I got treated, he paid for my hospital bill and drugs before my mum got to the hospital and even took us home. Three days later he got me a phone since mine got spoilt. Thankful to God for that man and lady 🙏 I have kept communication with him since then but I misplaced d lady’s number. I was able to still have his cause I have his complimentary card

It was a friday evening in 2017 at unilag, I wanted to withdraw my 500 from the 700 naira left in my account. I had queued at the atm dispensing 500 naira notes. Just as it got to my turn, the atm stopped working, I didn’t know when tears rolled down my eyes. An elderly man beside me using the other atm saw me crying and stretched out his hand to give me all the money he withdrew (15k). Before I could say thank you, I didn’t see the man again. Till today, I am convinced that man is an angel cause how he disappeared is still a mystery to me. God is great and mighty! He sees our hearts and knows our utmost desires.

I pray that everyone trusting God for one thing or the other, He would come through miraculously for you and amaze you. Don’t lose hope please!

My Mom is a single mother struggling to raise her kids, there was this neighbor of ours, whenever we come home crying because we were sent out of school for not paying fees, he will ask how much the money was and give it to us. He makes sure to ask us if we’ve eaten every Sunday and either gives us food or money to buy food. God bless him

A once upon a time best friend of mine sold her new phone for me to pay my rent back in school🥺🥺☹️ despite the fact we weren’t even talking at d moment
She bought that phone for 70k ( blackberry) and sold it for 40k she only used it for 3weeks and she went straight to my landlady and paid , God I was so emotional and I’d forever be indebted to her 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Was raped by a family friend , this my friend came to my house , first thing he did was he hugged me for close to 5mins and told me to let it all out. Mehn I cried, he didn’t ask me what happened, he just took care of me, stayed with me for the night , At night when I felt better, I told him what happened, he gave me advice , he never blamed me, he just listened.
Iam grateful . Last year when I was stranded, form no where he accommodated me for two months, slept on the bare floor, and the funny thing is that we were never friends prior to me moving to his state .

I will forever be Grateful to my pastor,after university all my friends had a job only me🥹I was so stress up this man gave me a job at his office (NGO)and am still working there 💃 .God will continue to bless his family 🙏and also my ex during my uni days I don’t lack any thing he was a God sent .

First was my travel last year. My husband resided in Asia then so we went visiting. The state we were to touch down has 2 airports and from past experience international flights always land in the international/bigger and new airport. On that faithful day, they took us to the other airport which required us taking a bus or taxi to the bigger airport were we had to take a connecting flight. Unfortunately for me I didn’t have their currency because I wasn’t expecting to use it since I thought my journey was going to be straight to my final destination. They didn’t accept naira at the airport so I had to beg the airport officials to help me. I saw one old $5 in my purse which they accepted (the conversion was less than the bus fare). On getting to the other airport, they had to search my bags so my wrapped bags were torn open and to check in, I was asked to re-wrap. I had to find a way to contact my husband as the airport networks were not working.

My ex when I discovered I had pcos and fibroid. He will always give me moral and financial support.
We are not together anymore but he is still the most amazing person I have ever met. Alway coming through for me and advising me.
In his word he’s say I gat you for life.

Recently I had ovarian cyst surgery and My mum slept in the hospital with me for the whole 10 days cleaning up after me even my vomit.

I finished secondary school in 2010 but couldn’t get into university immediately because no funds.. Fast forward in 2019, friend of mine who is like an elder sister to me told me to take a form that I should not worry, she paid for my first year fees, not only that she still pays for it till today. I am in my finals now. How do you even say thank you to such a person ??? She takes me like her younger sister…. 😢😢😢
