The Ultimate Guide for a Perfect Date

Hello, fellow daters! We know that it can be hard to find the right match, and even harder to keep that match interested. But there are some simple things you can do on a date that will help make sure you have a perfect date, and help your date feel comfortable and have a great time as well.

There have been a lot of stories (the good, the bad and the downright ugly) about people’s experiences on date. For the horrible ones, maybe all they needed were tips for the perfect date. Well, look no further, because we’ve got you covered.

We’ve compiled all the best tips for having a perfect date right here in one handy guide!

Pick a place that will make both of you feel comfortable.

If one of you is more outgoing than the other, go somewhere where there’s going to be plenty of people around for them to talk to if they get nervous—and if one of you is shy, try somewhere quieter where they can feel more secure in their own skin without feeling like everyone’s watching them.

Make sure there’s an activity planned for each part of the day (or night!).

That way, if one thing doesn’t work out as well as planned, at least there’s something else waiting up ahead.

Dress appropriately.

This is the most important thing you can do on a first date: dress to impress! You don’t have to wear a tuxedo, but you should at least put on something that makes you feel good about yourself. If you’re not sure what that is, ask a friend for advice.

Plan ahead and be punctual.

If you want your date to think you’re responsible, then be responsible! If you’re running late or forget an important item, let them know ASAP instead of making them wait around for no reason.

Make conversation easy by asking open-ended questions and listening attentively.

When they speak without interrupting them or finishing their sentences for them (even if it’s funny). Don’t try too hard with this one—just make sure that whatever they’re saying is getting through so that you can respond appropriately later on in the date when things get more intimate between the two of you (if they do!).

Be yourself

Your date will appreciate your authenticity and honesty way more than anything else out there in this world (even if it comes with some awkward moments here and there). If all goes well then eventually both parties will start feeling comfortable enough around each other.

Be flexible.

The best dates are ones where both people involved have fun doing whatever they’re doing together.

Have a conversation about the bill beforehand.

We have seen a lot of people complain about how their dates stood them up or asked them to split the bills. It is important to know that splitting the bills on a date is not a bad thing, but it is important to talk about it before the date. If you or your date would be paying for everything, let them know and if you would like to split the bills, you should also inform your date.

Bring extra money just in case anything unexpected comes up (like an emergency).

You should never underestimate the power of vex money. You should also make sure your phone has enough battery power so that if something happens and someone needs to reach you right away, they can do it without worrying about whether or not they’ll be able to get through first thing the next morning.

Don’t take this article as a set of rules; it’s nothing like a dating book. Date tips are here to show that there is no “best” way to have a perfect date, but it all depends on the personality of both of you and your shared interests. Experimenting and appreciating each other’s efforts is what makes dating fun and different each time.
