From Bride (Ezinne)
Well, our love story is the one that depicts the saying “Never Say Never”. We went to the same university, he was a medical student, and I a nurse. I didn’t really know him in university even though he said he knew me.
Fast forward to years after university, uncle has been in my DM since like forever (3yrs or maybe more) and if you know me, you will know that trying to get my attention on social media is like mission impossible. I just used to feel that meeting people on social media was somehow and I will never take that person serious. Infact, I used to do plenty yimu when I see people shared their love story on how they met on social media.
At a point, we exchanged numbers and he started calling, let’s just say I made it very difficult for him to like me and I was very somehow. Uncle didn’t relent, maybe he set me on timer because he kinda does this thing where he checks in with me like every 6months or so, I guess it was to see if I was single or if my head was now correct.
Fast forward to the beginning of this year, I was single and I reposted a funny educating video on my story of Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo of DCC where he was saying that ladies will be saying they will be complaining of being single when their Instagram handle is on private and after church, they are the first to leave the church without even sharing the grace and how unapproachable some ladies are.
He commented on it and accused me, saying I was guilty of what Pastor Kingsley was saying. Surprisingly I laughed, I said surprisingly because who told uncle I was complaining of being single. I would have given it to him hot hot oo, but I understood that he was just trying to make small talks and truth be told I have totally been unapproachable to his friendship or whatever it was he wanted to offer in the past, so we started chatting again.
This time it felt like we have known each other since forever cos the communication and connection just felt magical. Well, the rest they say is history!
