Happy Birthday to me and a face reveal.

So, I did a thing…

I started this Instagram page as a hobby to pass time, and dreams of bringing together women with similar interests. I have always been passionate about women’s affairs and was looking to create a platform to empower and inspire the everyday woman. My goals were simple – curate and create content that is both informative and inspiring, highlight successes of women in all areas of life, and provide resources to enable women like me achieve their goals.

Over the past 9 years, our page and community has taken on a life of its own, shaped by your contributions in the form of shares, likes, comments and DMs, and I feel blessed to have been part of this journey to create a world where women are respected and empowered.

I started out thinking of how much I had to give and teach, instead I found a community that has given me much more than I could ever have imagined.

Since I started this page, I have grown, become a wife and a mother and all through this, your stories and contributions have been invaluable in providing me with points of references and lessons in womanhood and this journey of life.

So, this post is to thank you, my followers, for sharing your stories and experiences with me and for helping to create a safe and inclusive space for women to share their stories and experiences. Your courage and strength have been an inspiration to me, and I believe, to all the women in our community.

I remain dedicated to you, and to creating a safe and inclusive space for women to share their stories and experiences, and to promote meaningful conversations about the issues that affect them. I hope that together, we continue to create a community of strong, empowered women who can support and inspire each other.

For a long time, I have been reluctant to put a face to this page as I am aware of the potential for pressure to conform to certain standards of beauty, success, and womanhood. However, I believe now that in order to be an authentic voice, and to create content that is honest, and meaningful, you should know who I am as well as I know many of you my followers.

I am proud to reveal that I am Ngozi Jone Abiola aka Ms. Asoebi and it’s my birthday today.
