Pls those who want to relocate with kids without a partner or mum coming with them should think it well o! I donno how much to emphasis this o. Ko le work without a career except they have money for carer and it is expensive. Please loud it to their ears.
Uk cos I live here. USA cos my sister lives there. I can talk for these 2 countries. Others I donno

Wow, this japa movement is serious o! I really hope people are thinking straight especially when they have kids included. Going for holiday is different from residing there o! Most will go from frying pan to fire! I understand the economy is bad
But over there no one will give you a dime.

11 or 12 yr olds can stay home alone as long as they’ve taking safety courses, might even look afteŕ a younger sibling for a few hrs. If older than 5, before and after school care may be available at the school, although with a cost 🇨🇦

It may be a bad decision but it depends on how you can manage and cope. Owing to this, I’ll be highlighting some questions below:
Are your kids the same sex? ( if they different sex, you will need to get a two or three bedroom, one for you, one for the male, and the other for female but if they are the same sex, you can make do with two bedrooms)
How old are they? ( can they be left alone at home while you go to work or go to school, you’re not expected to leave children all by themselves at home, you may need to bring your mum along to help you look after them)
As a student, you’re limited to 20 hours (you need to pay house rent, balance up your tuition, pay bills like electricity, gas, etc as the apartment you’ll be taking up is not going to be bills inclusive) except you’re able to get an off NI job by the side as your 20 hours can only offer you less than 300pounds per week.

You can apply to study in Canada with your family. Just have your POF and make your statement of Purpose strong you can check Canada study visa thread on Nairaland.

This is very risky. Even if the kids are of school age; 4 years and above depending on if you are in England or Scotland, they close by 3pm and you will need to pick them up or pay someone.
You definitely need someone to look after the kids. You will have bills to pay

Not at all bills will choke you ooo and you will have limited hours to work as a student I will say go first and be stable before you bring the kids

What is their age? If they are below 16 it is not going to be easy, education might be free bit where she will keep them if she goes to work or school? Child minder is very expensive

I say the same thing to people that ask me for the same advice but I don’t anymore. Within the past year, I know someone who came in with her baby and another came in during her third trimester. I think it depends on how your visa application is processed.

I don’t think it is wise o. This working and schooling thing isn’t as easy as people make it sound plus having children and no spouse to support you especially with bills and childcare. It is doable sha but it’ll be tough if you have to work to make up your school fees and other bills. Please know that child care isn’t cheap and you can’t be nonchalant about your children.

Yes it is
If the kids are 5 years and above
Might not be easy it’s not always going to be easy at first but with God by your side you will scale through
The kids can start schooling and it’s free and your school is flexible too depending on your course
I have an auntie in the same shoe as yours and she’s doing just fine.

I would say it’s not wise . As a student u can only work 20 hours per week . As such you may(I say May bcos nothing is impossible, ) not be able to get a job that can sponsor a tier 2 visa .
People who come thru school with spouse will have d spouse looking for a job that can offer sponsorship visa .
Also what are the ages of ur kids..
do they need childcare ?
If they do then that’s an issue because even two full time working parent struggle with child care .
One of the income of one parent goes to childcare . Even bills nd cost of living is high it’s a struggle for full time parents as well .
If they are 5 years upwards ., u are not allowed to leave them at home by themselves until a certain age (can’t recall now) .
It will be wise to look at all this before making the plan .
It’s better to come in thru d skilled worker route as a single mom

Please she needs to know who will pick rhs kids up who will stay with them at home ? She is entitled to 20hrs a week of work but who will cover for her at home with d kids
